It might surprise you but skin cancer is the most common cancer in Ireland.
There are 13,000 new cases diagnosed each year.
This is likely to double by 2040!
The good news is 90% are curable if caught early.

At Blackwater Medical we offer dedicated skin check appointments. These are 30 minute appointments where Dr McEnroe will start with an assessment of your skin cancer risk and a review of your general medical history. She will examine your skin with a Dermatoscope from the top of your scalp to the bottom of your feet.
